Steve Chung is a managing director and portfolio manager at Evercore Wealth Management.

Mr. Chung joined Evercore in 2019 from State Street Global Advisors, where he served as the lead portfolio manager for all tax-exempt municipal bond strategies and as co-portfolio manager for all taxable municipal bond strategies.

Previously, Mr. Chung was a municipal research analyst at the Hartford Investment Management Co. and a public finance investment banker. He had 15 years of municipal bond experience prior to joining Evercore.

Mr. Chung earned a B.A. in economics from Northwestern University. He holds the chartered financial analyst designation and is a member of the New York Society of Security Analysts and the CFA Institute.
