Matthew Wang

Matthew Wang is a senior managing director and the chief administrative officer of the U.S. investment banking business. He also co-leads the firm’s digital gaming investment banking coverage.

His investment banking experience includes the WEBTOONS IPO, Lucky Bucks’ Chapter 11 restructuring process, TCGplayer’s sale to eBay, Evercore’s acquisition of Lexicon Partners, and numerous equity and debt capital markets transactions.

Prior to rejoining Evercore, Mr. Wang was a cofounder of To Be Continued, a New York-based game company, until its merger with 5th Planet Games. Before attending graduate school, Mr. Wang worked in the M&A group at Evercore and in the energy group at UBS.

Mr. Wang earned a B.A. in economics – political science from Columbia College and an MBA from Columbia Business School.
