Gloria Lin
Gloria Lin is a senior managing director in Evercore’s strategic advisory practice with a focus on shareholder activism and raid defense.
Prior to joining Evercore, Ms. Lin was a director in Citi Group’s global M&A team in New York, where she worked for 11 years. She has extensive experience working with clients across a variety of industries on strategic advisory, including public company mergers and sales, corporate divestitures, cross-border transactions, activist defense and contested shareholder situations.
Notable transactions include advising on Direct ChassisLink and Blume Global’s sale to Apollo Global Management; Interpublic Group’s acquisition of Acxiom Marketing Solutions and activist defense against Elliott Management; Rite Aid’s sale of stores to Walgreens; Ashland’s sale of Water Technologies to Clayton, Dubilier & Rice (CD&R), and activist defense against Jana Partners; and Kinder Morgan’s master limited partnership consolidation.
Ms. Lin earned her B.S. from the University of Pennsylvania’s Wharton School, and frequently speaks at conferences and panels hosted by the school on topics related to finance and M&A and as a guest lecturer for negotiation courses.
