Elliot Ross is a managing director in the firm’s Liability Management & Restructuring Group.

Mr. Ross has worked on numerous restructuring assignments, advising companies, creditors and other stakeholders across various industries on a wide range of Chapter 11 bankruptcy reorganizations, out-of-court restructurings, financing and liability management transactions, and distressed mergers and acquisitions. Select assignments include advisory roles on the restructurings of Rite Aid, Brightspeed, Lumileds, Altera Infrastructure, Belk, Sanchez Energy, Tops Friendly Markets and Southeastern Grocers.

Prior to joining Evercore, Mr. Ross was an attorney at Skadden Arps, practicing in the areas of corporate restructuring and M&A. Prior to law school, Mr. Ross was a senior auditor at Ernst & Young.

Mr. Ross earned a J.D. (magna cum laude, Order of the Coif) from Fordham Law, an M.S. in accounting from the University of Virginia and a B.B.A. from Emory University’s Goizueta Business School.
