Charles-Henri Filippi is the chairman of Evercore France and works with the senior team in Paris to further build out the firm’s investment banking business, serving corporate and financial sponsor clients across strategic and private capital advisory.

Previously, Mr. Filippi  was co-chair of Lazard Frères SAS. Prior to that, he was chair of Citigroup France, global head of corporate and institutional banking at HSBC and chair of HSBC France. He started his career in the French civil service and government departments, .

Mr. Filippi graduated from Sciences Po Paris and l’Ecole Nationale d’Administration.
