Cameron Weir
Cameron Weir is a managing director in Evercore’s strategic advisory practice focused on the aerospace & defense and industrial sectors.
Mr. Weir has over 10 years of investment banking experience advising on strategic M&A, capital markets, activism defense and restructuring transactions. He has advised a broad range of companies and private equity firms. Notable assignments include advising Centerbridge on its acquisition of Precinmac, Resideo on its acquisition of Snap One, GE on its formation of three independent companies (GE Aerospace, GE Healthcare, and GE Vernova), BorgWarner on its spinoff of PHINIA, Consolidated Precision Products on its recapitalization, Aerojet Rocketdyne on its sale to L3Harris, The Carlyle Group on its sale of Chromalloy to Veritas, RADA on its all-stock merger with Leonardo DRS, and L3Harris on the sale of its airport security businesses to Leidos.
Prior to joining Evercore, Mr. Weir was an associate at KLS Professional Advisors Group.
He holds a B.A. from Trinity College in Connecticut and an MBA from the University of Virginia’s Darden School of Business.
