Andreas Burdach
Andreas Burdach is a managing director in Evercore’s Infrastructure and Energy Transition group, with more than a decade of experience in the infrastructure sector.
Mr. Burdach’s international experience encompasses M&A, public-private partnerships, financings and IPOs of assets and businesses across infrastructure sectors, including transportation, digital, waste, water, energy, renewables, and social and infrastructure services.
Notable transactions include OTPP, IFM and BCi’s sale of GCT USA; CPPIB and OMERS’ sale of interest in Chicago Skyway; Goldman Sachs Infrastructure Partners’ sale of interest in Metropistas; Macquarie Infrastructure Partners’ sales of Halterm Container Terminal, Penn Terminals and Fraser Surrey Docks; and Morgan Stanley Infrastructure Partners’ acquisition of interest in Lightpath.
Mr. Burdach began his career as an analyst in Evercore’s London infrastructure team advising on numerous U.K. and European deals in the transportation infrastructure, utilities and renewables sectors, including the Thames Tideway Tunnel, Scotia Gas Networks, Markbygden wind farm and Moto highway services.
He holds a B.Sc., International Business from Maastricht University and an M.Sc., Finance from Cass Business School.
