Eric Neveux
Eric Neveux is a senior managing director in Evercore’s financial institutions group, based in Chicago.
Before joining Evercore, Mr. Neveux spent 23 years at Goldman Sachs. Most recently, he was a partner, head of banks and specialty finance investment banking for the Americas, and co-head of investment banking for the Midwest region.
Mr. Neveux has advised on several notable strategic transactions, including the merger of SunTrust and BB&T to form Truist; BNP Paribas’ sale of Bank of the West to BMO; U.S. Bancorp’s acquisition of Union Bank from MUFG; Truist’s sale of its insurance subsidiary, TIH; Huntington’s acquisitions of TCF and FirstMerit; the sale of PrivateBancorp to CIBC; the merger of Cadence and BancorpSouth; and the business combination of United Wholesale Mortgage and Gores Holding IV.
He holds a B.S. in finance from Indiana University’s Kelley School of Business.
