Ali Mandour is a managing director in the firm’s EMEA Restructuring group.

Mr. Mandour has advised companies and their stakeholders in debt financing, financial restructuring and M&A transactions across Europe and the Middle East.

Select deals include advising Pacific Drilling on its financial restructuring, Codere on its financial restructuring, the junior creditor committee of Saur on its financial restructuring, the Public Investment Fund on restructuring alternatives for its debt and equity investments in Ma’aden, Orange Austria on its restructuring alternatives, Taghleef Industries on a refinancing of its capital structure, Royal Bank of Canada on its acquisition of BlueBay Asset Management, and Unibail-Rodamco on its acquisition of Simon Ivanhoe.

Prior to joining Evercore, Mr. Mandour was a director at Perella Weinberg Partners, spending time in the U.K. M&A and restructuring and debt advisory groups, both based in London. Earlier in his career, he worked at Bear Stearns in its New York-based investment banking group.

Mr. Mandour has a degree in business from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill.
