Nicholas Bazos

Nicholas Bazos is a senior managing director in Evercore’s Private Capital Markets group, focused on advising clients on direct private equity and private credit capital raising.

He has nearly 20 years of investment banking and capital markets experience assisting clients across industry sectors and geographies to access private and public capital.

Mr. Bazos has advised on private market financings for such companies as AgroFresh, Alltech, A Place for Mom, Cheniere Energy Partners, Downtown Music Publishing, Emerald Holdings, Integrated DNA Technologies, Outfront Media, RugsUSA.com, Sunbury Generation, US Foods, Vistra Vision and Xeris Biopharma.

In addition, he has advised financial sponsors and other investors on private market financings, including Avenue Capital, The Blackstone Group, General Atlantic, Onex Partners, Paine Schwartz Partners, Providence Equity and Silver Lake Partners.

Prior to joining Evercore in 2019, Mr. Bazos was a managing director in the private capital group at Perella Weinberg Partners. He began his career at Morgan Stanley in the global capital markets business in New York and Hong Kong.

Mr. Bazos earned a B.A. in economics from Wesleyan University and a J.D. from Columbia Law School, where he was twice named a Kent Scholar. He serves as a member of the board of trustees for The Cathedral School of St. John the Divine.
