Mark Williamson
Mark Williamson is a senior managing director and helps lead the firm’s Infrastructure and Energy Transition group. He focuses on advising companies and capital institutions across infrastructure sectors including transportation, digital & communications, services, waste, water, energy, renewables, social and health.
International experience includes M&A, P3, financing, capital raising and restructuring of assets and businesses. Select transactions include the corporate breakup of Macquarie Infrastructure Corp. (divestments of Atlantic Aviation, IMTT and Hawaii Gas); Chicago Skyway sale to Atlas Arteria; advisor to Port Authority NY & NJ; ODATA sale to Aligned Data Centers; divestment of Global Container Terminals’ U.S. assets to CMA CGM; Pattern Energy sale to CPPIB; Dubai World debt optimization; IFM capitalization of Freeport LNG; ImPark sale to Softbank Vision Fund and Mubadala; Morgan Stanley 49% acquisition of Lightpath; and the sale of Synagro Technologies.
Prior to joining Evercore, as director he initiated the Americas infrastructure advisory practice at Merrill Lynch and began his investment banking career at Cazenove & Co, departing Goldman Sachs as vice president.
Mr. Williamson earned a B.S. in actuarial science from University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill and an MBA from Columbia Business School.
