David Palmer is a senior managing director at Evercore ISI and heads the Restaurants and Food Producers Team.

He was ranked No. 1 for his coverage of the restaurants sector and runner-up in the food producers category in the 2024 Extel (formerly Institutional Investor) All-America Research survey, which has consistently ranked him runner-up or higher for more than a decade.

Before joining the ISI research team, Mr. Palmer was a managing director at RBC Capital Markets. Prior to that, he served as managing director and consumer sector head at UBS.

Mr. Palmer earned a B.A from Cornell University and an MBA from Columbia Business School.
