Eric M. Mandl is a Senior Managing Director of the firm's corporate advisory business. Mr. Mandl focuses on advising companies in the Large Cap Technology, Software and Internet sectors.
Mr. Mandl was named in the Investment Dealers' Digest 40 Under 40 deal makers list. Prior to joining Evercore, he was Global Head of Software and Enterprise Banking at UBS. With over fifteen years of investment banking experience, Mr. Mandl has executed many notable transactions, such as: advisor to Dell on its acquisitions of Force10 and Compellent, advisor to IBM on its acquisition of Netezza, advisor to Actian on its acquisition of Pervasive Software, advisor to Savings.com on its sale to Cox, financing advisor to Symantec on its inaugural investment grade bond, financing advisor to CSG on its acquisition of Intec, advisor to IBM on its purchase of iLog SA, advisor to Red Hat on its purchase of Qumranet, advisor to TeleLogic on its sale to IBM, advisor to KKR on its purchase of Flextronics Software Systems, financing advisor to GTCR on its purchase of the ADP auto claims processing business, and advisor to IBM on its purchases of Daksh and PwC Consulting
Mr. Mandl graduated cum laude from the Stern School of Business at NYU with a B.S. in Finance and International Business. He sits on the acquisitions committee of the Guggenheim Museum in New York and is on the Fellows Steering Committee at the Morgan Library.
