Kirk Materne is a Managing Director responsible for the research coverage of the Enterprise and Application Software Industries.
Prior to joining Evercore, Mr. Materne was Director of Research and Senior Research Analyst responsible for covering the software industry at Rafferty Capital Markets. Before joining Rafferty in 2009, Mr. Materne spent seven years at Banc of America Securities where he was a Principal and head of the software research team, which covered more than 25 software companies across all market caps. Previously, Mr. Materne worked at Merrill Lynch & Co. where he followed Computer Services stocks as part of an Institutional Investor-ranked team. Mr. Materne began his career at Andersen Consulting in New York City.
Mr. Materne, a Chartered Financial Analyst, received his B.A. from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill.
