Nick Chapman

Managing Director

Nick Chapman is a Managing Director of Evercore's corporate advisory business, specialising in financial services, based in London.

Mr Chapman has advised on a wide range of M&A and capital markets transactions across a number of sectors within the wider financial services market, including property and casualty (re)insurance, insurance broking, life assurance and asset management. Mr Chapman was a Partner of Lexicon Partners which he joined in 2003. Prior to Lexicon Partners, Mr Chapman worked in the UK M&A team at Goldman Sachs in London.

Recent transactions on which Mr Chapman has advised include Towergate on its equity and debt recapitalisation, KBC on the sale of its global convertibles business to Daiwa, HSBC on the sale of its insurance broking business to MMC, Amlin on its acquisition of Fortis Commercial Insurance from the Dutch Government, Hargreaves Lansdown and IG Group on their IPOs on the London Stock Exchange, and Beazley on its equity capital raisings.

Mr Chapman has a degree in classics from Oxford University.
