Brendan Sheldon is a Managing Director of Evercore's Corporate Advisory business.
Prior to joining Evercore in 2012, Mr. Sheldon worked at Deutsche Bank and Lehman Brothers in the Financial Institutions Groups. Mr. Sheldon has advised on a number of significant transactions in the financial services sector, including the FDIC on the sale of IndyMac Federal Bank to OneWest; the FDIC on the simultaneous sales of 3 Puerto Rico banks to Banco Popular, Scotiabank and Oriental Bank and Trust; BB&T on the acquisition of the failed Colonial Bank from the FDIC; ING Group on the sale of ING Direct US to Capital One. Before joining Lehman Brothers in 2007, Brendan was a management consultant focusing on the financial services sector at First Manhattan Consulting Group (FMCG).
Mr. Sheldon received a B.S. in Finance and Marketing, Cum Laude, from New York University and an M.B.A. from New York University's Stern School of Business.
