Marc Kushner is a Managing Director in the firm's corporate advisory business.
Prior to joining Evercore, Mr. Kushner was a Director at Lazard focusing on mergers and acquisitions and a Vice President in the M&A Group at Merrill Lynch.
Mr. Kushner has advised on a number of notable transactions at Evercore, including EMC's sale to Dell and Silver Lake Partners, Facebook's proposed recapitalization (subsequently withdrawn), Monster Worldwide's sale to Randstad Holding nv, PulteGroup's settlement with Elliott Management, HNA Group's purchase of a 25% interest in Hilton from Blackstone and Pilgrim's Pride's acquisition of Moy Park.
Mr. Kushner began his career as an Analyst in Smith Barney's Healthcare Investment Banking Group and, following graduation from Columbia Law School, joined Skadden, Arps, Slate, Meagher & Flom in New York as an attorney focusing on mergers and acquisitions.
Mr. Kushner received a B.S. in Economics from The Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania and a J.D. from Columbia Law School, where he was a Harlan Fiske Stone Scholar.
