Daniel Zimbaldi is a Managing Director with Evercore’s corporate advisory business focusing on financial institutions.
Prior to joining Evercore in 2014, Mr. Zimbaldi spent nearly six years at Deutsche Bank Securities where he was a Director in the Financial Institutions Group. Prior to joining Deutsche Bank, Mr. Zimbaldi was an associate at Lehman Brothers from 2006 through 2008. Mr. Zimbaldi has advised on numerous mergers,acquisitions, divestitures and corporate finance assignments, in the financial services sector. Some of the more significant assignments include advising Deutsche Bank on the sale of PB Capital to Union Bank, CIT Group on the acquisition of NACCO, Metlife on the sale of Metlife Bank’s mortgage assets to Everbank and Nationstar, GE Capital on the sale of its Business Properties unit to Everbank, Lehman Brothers Holdings on the sale of Aurora Bank assets, the FDIC on the sale of IndyMac Federal Bank to OneWest; the FDIC on the simultaneous sales of Western Bank, R-G Premier Bank and Eurobank to Banco Popular, Scotiabank and Oriental Bank and Trust and advising Fieldstone Mortgage Investment Trust on the sale to C-BASS.
Mr. Zimbaldi received a B.A. in International Relations from Stanford University and an MBA from Columbia Business School.
