Andrew Marquardt

Managing Director

Andrew Marquardt is a Managing Director and Head of Bank Research at Evercore within Evercore Institutional Equities (EIE) business covering large-cap, regional, and trust banks. He is a founding partner of EIE, a member of the investment policy committee, and co-chairs the product management committee.


Mr. Marquardt has been covering banks for 17 years, with fourteen years on the sell-side and nearly three years at the Federal Reserve Bank of New York as a financial/economic analyst covering U.S. and Japanese banks.  Prior to joining Evercore in 2010, Mr. Marquardt was a senior analyst and Managing Director at Macquarie, which acquired Fox-Pitt Kelton (FPK). He joined financial services boutique, FPK, in 2005, where he led large-cap and super-regional bank coverage.  Prior to FPK, Mr. Marquardt spent several years at bulge bracket sell-side firms including UBS, Banc of America Securities, and Salomon Smith Barney.


Mr. Marquardt graduated from Skidmore College with Honors in Economics.
