Saul D. Goodman
Senior Managing Director
Saul Goodman is a Senior Managing Director of the firm's corporate advisory business.
Prior to joining Evercore, Mr. Goodman was a Vice President in the Investment Banking Division of Lehman Brothers, where he focused on media and telecommunications clients. Mr. Goodman started his career at Ark Asset Management, where he worked as an Assistant Portfolio Manager.
Mr. Goodman was involved in advising CBS Corporation on its merger with Viacom Inc., Time Warner Cable in its separation from Time Warner, SpectraSite on its merger with American Tower Corporation, ACNielsen Corporation on its sale to VNU N.V. and the sale of VNU N.V. to a financial consortium. Other notable transactions include advising SBC Communications on its purchase of AT&T Wireless, the sale of J.D. Power and Associates to The McGraw-Hill Companies, Dow Jones purchase of MarketWatch, the Advent and Goldman Sachs purchase of TransUnion, the dual-class restructuring of Robert Mondavi and merger with Constellation Brands and the minority investments by Hearst Corp. in Fitch Ratings, and CalPERS in SilverLake Partners.
Mr. Goodman graduated summa cum laude from the University of Florida with a B.S. in finance and received his M.B.A., with honors, from the Columbia University Graduate School of Business.
