Ciara Burnham
Senior Managing Director and Head of Strategy and Business Development
Ciara Burnham is a Senior Managing Director responsible for Strategy and Corporate Development, leading firm initiatives with respect to acquisitions, joint ventures and alliances, organic growth strategy and other corporate development opportunities. Ms. Burnham has worked broadly across Evercore’s investment management and advisory businesses, having joined the firm shortly after its inception. Ms. Burnham serves in a director-level capacity for several of the firm’s investment management businesses, and has served on the Boards of Directors of a number of private equity portfolio companies, including Davis Petroleum Corp.,TestEquity, LLC., Vertis, Inc., Specialty Products & Insulation Co., and Resources Connection Inc.
Previously, Ms. Burnham was a founding partner of Five Mile Capital Partners, a hedge fund management company, an equity research analyst with Sanford C. Bernstein & Co., Inc., and a consultant with McKinsey & Co., Inc.
Ms. Burnham received an A.B., cum laude, from Princeton University and an M.B.A., with honors, from the Columbia University Graduate School of Business, where she was a Samuel Bronfman Fellow and received the Beta Gamma Sigma award for the highest academic achievement in the graduating class
